Le Cottage is our home before it's a kennel: a century-old building at the edge of Magog, a garden overflowing with peonies and roses, and two Maltese litters a year — never more, because we want to know every puppy by name.
Our girls live with us year-round, sleep at the foot of our bed, and retire right here once their breeding years are done. They aren't "production females" — they're Pivoine, Groseille and Framboise.

Health tested before every litter
Patella exam, ophthalmological exam and a cardiac check for both of our breeding girls, before any mating. You receive the actual results, not a summary.
The gentleness of the cottage
Daily handling from day three, between the kitchen, the fenced garden and the comings and goings of a real home. A settled puppy doesn't happen by accident.
Support for life
We stay reachable long after your puppy leaves — first nights, grooming, feeding. And if you ever can't keep your dog, they come back here. Always.
Why the Maltese?
A small, all-white dog just as at home on a cottage sofa as in a city apartment. The Maltese sheds very little, bonds deeply with their family, and keeps a gentle temperament for life — a fitting choice for a house full of gingham curtains and embroidered cushions.
We don't cross our lines with other breeds: our Maltese are purebred, with pedigree and registration papers for litters that qualify.
From your first question to the ride home.
You write to us
Tell us about your household: children, other pets, house or apartment, experience with small dogs. We reply within one to two days, honestly.
You visit the Cottage
Visits by appointment, in the garden or the living room depending on the season. You meet the parents and see exactly where the puppies grow up.
Reservation and matching
A $500 deposit confirms your place on the litter. Puppy–family matching happens around week seven, based on the temperaments we observe.
Going home at twelve weeks
Your puppy leaves vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and examined by our veterinarian, with a health record, a small bag of food and a blanket that smells like the litter.
A litter is expected this fall.
