Our current and upcoming litters. Listings are updated the moment a puppy's status changes — a puppy marked "available" really is available today.
Puppy photos coming soon. Our litters are photographed in week three, once their eyes are open and their coat has settled. The thumbnails below will be replaced right after the photo session.
Every other detail — sex, colour, date of birth, price, vaccinations — is accurate.
We don't work on a first-come, first-served basis. After we've talked — by email, phone or a visit to the Cottage — we add your family to the litter that suits you.
Matching happens around week seven. We've watched every puppy since birth: the one who follows you everywhere, the one who settles alone, the one nothing rattles. That's what decides which puppy goes to which family — not a colour picked from a photo.
A $500 deposit confirms your place and applies to the total price. It's refundable if the litter doesn't produce the right puppy for you.
No, and that's deliberate. Matching is based on seven weeks of observed temperament, not on colour or coat. A very dominant puppy placed in a home with young children becomes a problem about a year later. We introduce you to the puppy or puppies that suit your household, and you decide from there.
Very little. The Maltese has a single coat, without an undercoat, that rarely sheds — a real plus for households that would rather not find hair on embroidered cushions. It does need regular brushing to prevent matting, especially behind the ears.
First round of vaccinations, complete deworming, a microchip registered in your name, a veterinary exam in the days before departure, a health record, a small bag of food and a blanket carrying the litter's scent. Registration papers are included for litters that qualify.
Yes. A two-year guarantee against serious hereditary conditions, given to you in writing when the contract is signed. It provides for replacement or refund, your choice. We also hand you the mother's screening results.
They come back here, at any age, without judgement. It's written into the contract. A dog we brought into the world doesn't end up in a shelter or a classified ad — we take them back, or we find them a new home ourselves.
Between three and eight months, depending on timing. With only two litters a year, our puppies are often spoken for before they're even born. If nothing matches right now, join the list: we notify waiting families before a litter is published on the site.
Join the waiting list. We notify registered families as soon as a mating is confirmed — often three months before the puppies are born.
